One of the biggest purchases (both in size and cost) that expecting parents will make is that of a stroller. As a second time mom, I’m no newbie to the stroller game! I’ve had enough experience to know what will work best for my family and the various offerings on the market across all price points. What’s most important to me is affordability, how easy it is fold and store, the ease with which I’m able to get my child in and out of it, and the overall look.
COLUGO, a direct to consumer brand developed by a Canadian husband and wife team, recently sent me their Complete Stroller and asked for my honest review. The Complete Stroller is their full-sized, everyday stroller that covers the complete journey from infant to toddler.
A FEW SPECS

THE PRICE
The price of the Colugo stroller is attractive. While it’s not the most affordable full-sized stroller on the market, at about double the price of brands like Graco, Britax, and Chicco, it offers alot more! The stroller is made with an aluminum alloy frame and and the handlebar is wrapped in vegan leather. It’s sturdy and has large wheels that deliver all wheel suspension and shock-absorption on a variety of everyday terrains. The large wheels offer improved maneuverability. The undercarriage is large enough to pack days worth of snacks, large diaper bags, groceries, etc. For $50 more you can buy the complete infant kit, which includes car seat adaptor clips and an added layer that transforms the the stroller into a bassinet. With it’s versatile configurations, great design, and smart add-ons, the Colugo Complete Stroller is comparable to the coveted UPPAbaby Vista and Bugaboo–for a fraction of the price. Colugo is a direct to consumer brand. Cutting out the middle man allows the company to make the price point a bit more affordable than it’s high end comparables.
THE EASE TO FOLD AND STORE
Folding the stroller is a simple process…once you get the hang of it. It has a compact fold which will make it easy to store in trunks, restaurants, closets, etc. While switching from front to rear facing configuration was pretty simple, configuring the stroller for an infant, whether for car seat handling or to include the bassinet, proved to be tricky. I’m sure, with time, it will become second nature. Thankfully, it’s not everyday that you switch from infant to traditional stroller configuration. Once your child is no longer an infant, you no longer have to worry about switching out the bassinet or infant car seat.
HOW EASY IS IT TO GET YOUR CHILD IN AND OUT?
Very easy! I love how easy it is to use the straps on the Complete Stroller. The harness buckling system is magnetized which makes it safe and simple to use. I also love that you can easily recline the seat for your toddler up to 175 degrees.
THE OVERALL LOOK
I love the look of the Complete Stroller. It’s sleek, built well, and very attractive. The seat is easily removable and machine washable so that you can keep things fresh between toddler spills. I also love the way the canopy extends and has a sleek, mesh look and feel. I’m looking forward to using the sun-shade during the summer months to protect my baby while napping in the sun. The complete stroller is an eye-catching piece of hardware you’ll be proud to push around town!
THE OVERALL VERDICT
I’m extremely happy with Colugo’s Complete Stroller ! It’s roomie, configures to meet all of my needs, and provides a smooth but durable ride. My only CONS would be:
-Parents that will have multiple children in strollers at the same time– the Complete Stroller isn’t able to configure into a double stroller. This will not be a problem for my family (my toddler loves to move his legs and happily walks) but parents with multiple littles may find double-stroller options more fitting.
-The stroller isn’t sold in big box stores, so I’d be reluctant to buy a $450 stroller that I’m not able to see with my own eyes and test. However, the company is so confident in the product that they deliver, that they offer a 100 day trial period. If you don’t like it you can ship it back–money back guarantee!
Overall, I’d absolutely recommend the COMPLETE STROLLER– It’s sturdy while remaining sleek and multifunctional!
**ALSO, a special thanks to Clek for sending their Clek Liing infant car seat to complete THE COMPLETE TRAVEL SYSTEM. The Complete Travel System, including the Complete Stroller, Clek Liing infant car seat, and infant bundle retail for $795.
