Well the cat’s out of the bag–we’re pregnant! 5 months to be exact! We are so excited to finally share the news!

It’s surreal to be bringing another life into this world, but we are so thankful for the blessing and life that the Lord has put into my womb. We do not take the gift or calling lightly. We are thankful!

Although I’ve been excited and at some points anxious to share the news, it’s been enjoyable relishing in the delight with our closest family and friends. I don’t live in fear, but those first few months can totally make a mama-to-be hold her breath. To now feel the baby moving around, kicking, and popping out beyond restriction has brought some ease and relief.

Although this isn’t my first pregnancy, many of the experiences “feel” brand new. My son is 3 years old and I look at him and often can’t believe he used to be a tiny baby swimming around in my belly. I forgot what the feeling was like! It’s beyond description–truly one of the most beautiful and fulfilling experiences of my life.

At this stage, we’re getting excited about baby names, tiny little outfits, and becoming a family of four. One of the biggest questions I’ve been asked thus far is if we know the gender. The answer is YES. Yes, we do 🙂 We have yet decide if we’ll make that reveal before he or she gets here…so Stay Tuned 😉
